ex Clyde Berg racer arrived in Holland

Thursday the 25th of July was the BIG day for Kaagkevers. The ex Clyde Berg dragracer was finally ready for pickup in Schiedam. The company I work for arranged the shipping so I was also there to see this beauty IRL. Lets hope we will see him in action in 2009. Good luck with your new toy Kaagteam!

Progress at the paintshop

Last week I went to the paintshop to see the progress on my oval body. The body had his second epoxy treatment after lots of work to get the metal in the right shape.
The team will now finalize the last points before they will spray it in the primer coating. More pictures later this week.

KCN Schagen 2008

Last Sunday we visit the KCN meeting at Schagen. Around 300 aircooled rides visit the small streets of the host town. I hope this was our last time without an aircooled ride so next time we will arrive in style! Check the pictures in my album for a good impression.

European Bug In #2

4-5-6 July 2008. The last weekend of my holiday in Italy but this was also the weekend of The European Bug In #2. Lots of racecars drove on the Chimay International Raceway when I walked over the Formula 1 circuit of Monaco. In my imagination I saw aircooled racecars instead of expensive Ferrari's so one thing was very clear....... I will never miss another EBI again.
